I’m Shanna: coach, consultant and woman on a mission to change the conversations and mindset we have about persistent pain.

I work one-to-one with people living with persistent pain, supporting them to build practical skills, confidence, and clarity so they can continue to thrive while navigating ongoing health challenges. My approach is holistic and person-centred, integrating evidence-informed pain management, coaching, and mind–body practices.

I also partner with organisations to improve how persistent pain is understood and supported in the workplace, working with companies that place wellbeing, self-development, and sustainable performance at the heart of their culture.

Drawing on my professional experience and accreditations, I create supportive spaces where individuals and teams learn to work with persistent pain - rather than pushing through it - enabling long-term resilience and meaningful change.

I deliver in-person and online coaching, bespoke pain-informed workplace wellbeing and meditation sessions, masterclasses, public speaking, and tailored 1:1 coaching programmes for both individuals and organisations.

My mission is straightforward: to change the way we understand and manage persistent pain, for both individuals and organisations.

For too long pain management has been positioned as a last resort, offered only after other treatment options have been exhausted. Support is often inconsistent, leaving many people to navigate persistent pain without the knowledge, skills or confidence they need to live well. At the same time, workplaces and organisations are frequently under-resourced to respond effectively, despite the significant impact persistent pain can have on performance, wellbeing and long-term engagement.

I believe pain management should be an early and essential step following a persistent pain diagnosis. With the right education and support, people can learn to manage pain effectively, remain connected to what matters most, and approach future challenges with confidence. Organisations, too, can play a vital role by fostering informed, compassionate approaches that support sustainable participation and wellbeing.

As a coach with lived experience of persistent pain, I bring professional expertise and deep personal insight. I work with individuals to build evidence-informed, practical skills — and the confidence to apply them in daily life. I also partner with organisations to support healthier, more informed conversations about persistent pain and to create environments where people can continue to contribute meaningfully.
